Corporate training | Teaching

Nobody stays on the sidelines

I bring employees into the company’s ESG plan, with bespoke technical training for the functions that have to apply the rules, on topics such as the DPP, circular economy and ecodesign, EPR, consumer protection and sustainability reporting. Every session ends with practical guidance to apply straight away in your own work.

I also take part, as a visiting lecturer or speaker, in initiatives run by organisations and universities, including teaching at the University of Pisa on the second-level Master’s programme in “Sustainable Development and Climate Change”.

FAQ

Who is corporate training for?

Corporate training is aimed at two types of stakeholder. The first is senior management and members of the Board of Directors, for whom I provide strategic training. The second has a technical and operational focus and is aimed at specific company functions, on bespoke topics on which the business wants an update or needs to engage in a more structured way than a simple call or consultation allows.

What topics do I cover?

Among others, the Digital Product Passport (DPP), circular economy and ecodesign, Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR), consumer protection and sustainability reporting. The content is agreed with the business owner and the company, defining the technical areas to focus on according to actual needs: from designing and developing processes for data collection and reporting, including alignment with the main corporate information systems, to analysing real cases and complex scenarios in international markets. Training can also support the development of social impact processes and projects, including by identifying and managing possible partnerships with Third Sector organisations.

How does a session work?

These are in-house technical sessions, built on the existing ESG plan and aimed at turning the content into concrete actions that can be applied in day-to-day work. I prefer a programme made up of focused sessions spread over at least two weeks, rather than a full immersion in a single day: this way it is possible to apply what has been covered, check its effectiveness and revisit the aspects that need further work.

The structure of the programme is defined together with the business owner, assessing each time the most effective format for involving the different company functions without weighing down their operations. Each session ends with practical guidance to apply and test in your own work.

Can training be funded through calls for funding and subsidised finance schemes?

Absolutely. Depending on the content of the project and the requirements of the business, training programmes on sustainability, ESG, the ecological transition, the circular economy and green skills may qualify as eligible activities. Among the most recent schemes are PNRR/REPowerEU – “Crescere Green”, the Fondo Nuove Competenze and the MIMIT measure “Sviluppo competenze specialistiche delle PMI” (developing specialist skills in SMEs), funded by the 2021-2027 National Programme for the green and digital transition.
