The site requires no registration and contains no forms. The personal data we process is the data you send me of your own accord, by writing an email, or by booking a call through the Calendly service. In these cases I use your name, email address and the content of your message solely to reply to your request and to arrange any meeting. The legal basis is the performance of pre-contractual measures taken at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and, if an engagement follows, the performance of the contract and compliance with legal obligations. Providing your data is optional, but without it I cannot reply to your request or arrange the meeting. No automated decision-making or profiling takes place.
The site is hosted by Netlify, Inc., based in San Francisco (United States), which acts as data processor. Netlify records technical access data, such as IP address, browser used and time of visit, to ensure the security and operation of the site and to distribute it through its own server network. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in the security and proper functioning of the service (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). This data may be transferred to the United States. Netlify participates in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, recognised as adequate by the European Commission, and in any case applies the standard contractual clauses approved by the Commission (Arts. 45 and 46 GDPR).
Calls are booked through the Calendly service, which processes the data entered in its form in accordance with its own terms and privacy policy, available on the Calendly website (calendly.com). The processing may involve the transfer of data to non-EU countries, in particular the United States; for the related safeguards, please refer to that policy. I receive your name, email address, the time you choose and any notes you decide to add, which I use solely to arrange and hold the call. I invite you to read Calendly’s privacy policy before booking.
The site does not set any first-party or third-party cookies and does not use analytics or profiling tools, so no banner is required. Fonts are also hosted on the site itself and are not requested from external services.
The “here” link leads to the Calendly booking service, an external site that may use its own cookies in accordance with its own policy. My site neither receives nor manages that data.
I keep your communications for as long as necessary to reply and, if no professional relationship follows, for a limited period, in any case no longer than twenty-four months. If a relationship is established, the data is kept for its duration and for the periods required by law, for example for tax and accounting obligations. The data is not disseminated and is disclosed only to essential technical providers. These are the hosting provider (Netlify, Inc.), the ordinary email provider (Google, for the Gmail address) and the booking service (Calendly). Some of these providers may also process data outside the European Union, subject to the safeguards provided for by the GDPR and set out in their privacy policies.
The names, roles and testimonials of the people mentioned on the Who I work with page, as well as client logos, are published with their consent, which may be withdrawn at any time. Anyone wishing to have content amended or removed can write to the addresses given above.
You may at any time request access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and portability, and object to processing (Arts. 15-22 GDPR), by writing to the addresses given above. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali) (garanteprivacy.it).
